Ignacio Santos Pasamontes (also Ignacio Santos, full name is Ignacio Rodolfo Santos Pasamontes) is a Cuban journalist, naturalized Costa Rican.

He graduated as a lawyer at the University of Costa Rica in 1986 and as a journalist in 1988, at the Collegium Studium Generalle of the Autonomous University of Central America.

His partner is Nancy Dobles, who is a presenter of the same channel.

His first steps in journalism were at the newspaper La Nación, from 1982 to 1984. He later held the position of press advisor in the Chamber of Industries of Costa Rica from 1984 to 1990.

He was director of the news program NC4 on Channel 4 between 1989 and 1998. He also worked as a journalist and lawyer at Telenoticias between 1987 and 1989.

He obtained the Jorge Vargas Gené award from the Journalists Association of Costa Rica in 1994 and the National Journalism Prize Pío Víquez from the Ministry of Culture in 1997.

In 2009-2013, he was the presenter of four seasons of ¿Quién quiere ser millonario?, the Costa Rican version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, the first version of the show in Central America, on Teletica. He returned for the show's revival in 2021. He was temporarily replaced by Gustavo Rojas from June 7 to July 5, 2022.
